If you have come to be saved by trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour and God then you need to continue on and follow him and his word , the Holy Bible for more light and truth from God until the Lord comes back for you wether by way of death or the catching up or rapture of the saved in the air we need to be faithful to him and attempt to win others to him by preaching and teaching and witnessing for him in this lost world of sinners. So that others may come to Christ also and have the joy of being saved and having their sins forgiven also. If you havent come yet to him for eternal life why not come today with a repentent heart for your sins and only trust him as your Saviour today and then if possible get into a church that believes the word of God if possible. And look to Jesus Christ as you travel this straight and narrow way that leads to life since broad is the way that leads to destruction and many there be which go in thereat. Only Christ can save your soul from hell , forgive your sins , redeem you by his blood and set you apart for his service while going through this life and this old lost world of sin. Then later on in Exodus more laws are given which mostly except for the ceremonial laws most come from the original Ten Commandments and are based on those and how we should treat God and other people around us. And then later on God gave how and what Aaron and the Jewish priesthood should be dressed , should be holy , as the representatives or ambassadors for Christ that we should be who have been saved. Then also is given how the Tabernacle was to be built where the animals were to be sacraficed and offering were to be brough where God's presence was at that time in the Holy of Holys which is now in heaven itself where Christ offered up the blood atonement that he shed at the cross of Calvary at where God is in heaven itself. But Moses made the tabernacle according to the measurements and the pattern that God had given him to make it as the Lord had commanded him. So eventually the children of Israel or the Jewish people came to the Caanan land and came into the land with Joshua as there next leader and then came to the time of the Judges when every man did that which was right in his own eyes which wasnt right with God. Then in Samuel and Kings , Israel and Judah had Kings of their own after God had told them them that he was their King but they often went away from him and he sent Prophets to them to preach to them to repent and gave them at times teaching priests to teach them the way of the Lord but most of the time they sinned against the Lord although at times they would get right with him. And finally John the Baptist came the greatest of all the prophets with the Spirit of Elijah the Prophet who told the people in the wilderness to repent and bring forth fruits meet for repentance and to behold the Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the world . And there pointed to the Lord Jesus Christ who came up to the crowd of people and was baptised by John. And some started to follow the Lord Jeus Christ as their Jewish Messiah , The Son of God and God manifest in the flesh who came into the world to save sinners from their sins by later dying and shedding his sinless blood for their sins on the cross of Calvary , being buried , and rising from the dead the third day, being seen of men , and going back up to heaven in the deciples sight. And now would have all men to repent and believe the gospel to be saved from the wrath to come and have a home in God's heaven forever. And is one day coming back in the air for his own people the ones who have trusted him as their own personal Saviour. 1 Thessalonians 411-15   , Sincerely ; George   , www.HolyBible.com

And after God had given the commandments to give to Moses to give to the people they were in fear and didnt want God to speak to them any furthur from the mighty thunderings and lightnings and the words of God spoken they were then in the fear of God . And this is what God wanted so they would be obedient to him and be blessed because of it. So we all should fear the LORD God who created us and gave us his Holy word. Which is a good thing. Since it also causes us to start having the beginning of wisdom in our lives. Which is not worldly wisdom that doesnt want to know God but the wisdom which is of God and the wisdom that comes from only God. So let us fear him and love him by turning to Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour and trusting him for his gift of God which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Since the wages of sin is death and eternal life is through faith in him for new life in Christ. He said , I am the way , the truth , and the life ; no man cometh unto the Father but by me. John 14:6. Sincerely ; George   , www.HolyBible.com

The last commandment given here in Exodus 20 is a heart sin primarily which is desiring something of someone elses which does not belong to us and God considers it a sin to be repented of. We instead should be glad for others having something and not to envy them or desire what they have no matter what it is. Thou shalt not covet. Which can only be done by the power of God giving us victory over our old sin nature and yielding to the new nature when we are born again of the Spirit of God. Ye must be born again to have the new nature in Christ. He that hath the Son hath life.  Sincerely ; George , www.HolyBible.com

This commandment is next , Thou shalt not bear false witness against they neighbor. This primarily had to do with witnessing in a trial about something someone had done and not telling the truth about what someone had done. As King Ahab and Queen Jezebel had done to Naboth so they could steal his vineyard from him and then had him and his family put to death. But this commandment can also apply to telling something false or lying about someone something that isnt true. Although it is not wrong to tell the truth about what someone has done and a true accusation is not wrong. This is why we are always to make certain that what we say is so and there is evidence to back it up. Otherwise it can hurt the person it has been said about. Another verse says that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established. We are to speak every man truth with his neighbor. And since God is a God of truth and without iniquity we also should be like that in our lives. But like any other sin Jesus died for it on the cross of Calvary 2000 years ago and can forgive the one guilty of it. Sincerely ; George  , www.HolyBible.com

The next commandment of God given here in Exodus 20 is thou shalt not steal. So we are not to take someone elses property from him for ourself since it doesnt belong to us . So we shouldnt steal or the forms of it robbery , theft , breaking up , fraud , or even theft of time as when an employee doesnt do their work right for their employer. And even though we are to pay our taxes to the government they are not to steal from their citizens by fraud or other corruption in government but to treat the people justly or fairly. Cheating is also another form of stealing such as on tests in a school or taking of bribes to be dishonest in something and none of these things is God pleased with at all. Stealing is another sin against a Holy God who is able to bring back on those who steal the same things they have done to others. Under the law the Jewish people were to restore fourfold when having stolen something to make it right with someone else. So if you have stolen something , Let him that stole steal no more. And also make restitution if possible for what was stolen from someone else. As with all other sins a thief can be forgiven if they repent of their sins and trust the Saviour , the Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified between two thieves and one trusted the Lord there as his Saviour and the Lord told him this day thou shalt be with me in paradise. After he said Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. The other thief railed on him instead and didnt trust him and died and went to hell. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved , and thy house. Acts 16:31.  God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners , Chist died for us. And rose again from the dead the third day, was seen of men , and went back up to heaven.   Sincerely ; George    , www.HolyBible.com

The next of God's commandments in Exodus 20 is Thou shalt not commit adultery. Which has to do with taking to have anothers wife or husband which God considers sin. And some of the offshoots of this sin are fornication , lasciviousness , etc.  and other perversions of marriage that God is not pleased with. This also can cause problems for the children of such relationships and is also is sin against ones own body. And can lead to various diseases as well as abortions , divorces , and keep one from going his farthest for God our creator. So the best thing is to get married and to stay married to the same person if possible to do so. Although any sin can be forgiven by God and in some cases it is not the fault of one of them so God can take the person from where they are in the situation and give them the grace of God in the situation. Since adultery starts in the heart and goes to an action much like hatred can lead to murdur. For out of the heart proceed the things that defile the man which is sin. But only God can resolve the issues of the heart and give the power over sin in a life by the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ to forgive and cleanse from sin. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to clease us from all unrighteousness. And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. In whom we have redemption through his blood even the forgiveness of sins. So even this sin can be forgiven unto men if repented of and trusting the Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ who died for all our sins on the cross and rose again the third day,and is alive in heaven forevermore. The sixth commandment given in Exodus 20 is Thou shalt not kill and interpreted by the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament as Thou shalt do no murdur. Which also starts with hatred in the heart for someone which could lead to someone actually doing the act. But anything outside of self defence or time of war is nothing but murdur which is a sin against a Holy God. And Jesus also said on the law , Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind and with all thy strength and the second is like unto it , Thou shalt love thy nieghbor as thyself. Since all mankind were created by God therefore they are of value to God and he is against all murdur. Although he is for capital punishment for those who take an innocent life which is to be done by the government after a fair trial. Whoso sheddeth mans blood by man shall his blood be shed. Genesis 9:6. Although it is a sin yet it can still be forgiven by God when the guilty person repents of their sin and trusts Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour although they may not get out of the consequences of their sin by human government or mankind. So any indiscriminate killing by an individual or governments or dictators or religions is still sin against God no matter how they try to justify what they do. Romans 13. And eventually those murdurs and other crimes will be judged on those who did them by God at the Great White Throne Judgment in Revelation 20:11-15. Only those who come to Christ now can be forgiven and miss being judged at the Great White Throne Judgment for all their sins and the sin of not coming to Christ for salvation. Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish. It is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment. But Christ payed the full price for our sins at the cross of Calvary by shedding his sinless blood as the atonement for the sins of the one who comes to Christ as a sinner for his gift of eternal life . Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved,  and thy house. acts 16:31.  Sincerely ; George , www.HolyBible.com

In Exodus 20 , The fifth commandment is given , Honor thy father and thy mother : that thy days may be long upon the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee. Here God gave a commandment to the Jewish people with a promise given if it was kept , If they would honor or respect their parents that they were born to that God would also give them a long life in the land that God had given them which was the Caanan land which no one else was to give to anyone elce because God had given it to the descendents of Abraham the Hebrew or the Jewish people . But they were to honour in what ever way possible there parents who God had given them. And in the New Testament also it says to children to obey their parents in the LORD for this is right in the book of Ephesians. So parents are a gift from God as well as children and even though no ones parents are perfect yet they are to be honoured anyway and if they dont yet know the LORD as their personal Saviour to be prayed for and witnessed to about the Lord Jesus Christ that they also might come to be saved. So wether you are a child at home or a parent that isnt yet saved why not come to Christ today and have your sins forgiven and have God's gift of eternal life through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and trust him today since he is the way , the truth , and the life ; no man cometh unto the Father but by me, he said. And ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. And ye must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. Why not repent and trust him for salvation today. In Exodus 20 , the fourth commandment given to Moses to give to the people was , Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. This command was a covenant between God and the Jewish people. And the sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath day later Jesus Christ said. They were though to primarily remember the day and the emphasis was to be on remembering the covenant between God and the Jewish people which is on Saturday but real Christians celebrate the first day of the week or Sunday as their day to meet. And keeping the Sabbath day can also never save a persons soul from hell but one is saved by grace through faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary 2000 years ago as the one sacrafice for sins forever which is not of works lest any many should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 , Titus 3:5. Sincerely ; George , www.HolyBible.com
